This Is More Than a Podcast.

This Is a Movement.

After the Unthinkable is building a community and advocacy brand dedicated to ensuring that survivors of violent crime and tragic loss are never left to navigate it alone. Not in the courtroom, in the community, or in their own minds.

What We Stand For

Surviving violent crime or devastating loss is only the beginning. What comes after; the grief, the legal system, the isolation, the mental health struggle, and the pressure to keep functioning is a journey most people face completely alone.

After the Unthinkable exists to change that.

We advocate for survivors who are still in it. Not people who have arrived somewhere safe. People who are in the fire right now and need someone in their corner.

That means fighting for better mental health resources for survivors of violent crime. It means building community where none exists. It means being honest about what grief really looks like when the cameras are gone and the casseroles stop coming.

It means showing up every single day even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard.

This is personal. This is real. And this is just the beginning.

How We Show Up

Community

Building a space where survivors of violent crime and tragic loss can find each other, share their stories, and know they are not alone. Because isolation is one of the most dangerous parts of surviving the unthinkable.

Voice

Using the podcast, social media, and speaking opportunities to tell the truth about what survivors experience, and to demand better resources, better support, and better systems for people navigating devastating loss.

Action

Partnering with local and national organizations to advocate for policy changes, improved mental health access, and stronger support systems for survivors of violent crime and their families.

You Don't Have to Do This Alone. And Neither Do We

Whether you're a survivor looking for community, an organization wanting to partner, or someone who simply believes in this mission, we want to hear from you.

Every voice matters. Every story matters. Let's build this together.
